The Band Teacher's Bag of Tricks

Storage for Reeds & Accessories

A couple years ago my colleague and I were looking for the easiest way to organize reeds for those moments right before rehearsal or a concert when a student suddenly needs one. It turns out the best solution was under $20 at Home Depot.

Reed and Accessory Storage
Reeds are organized by instrument and style. The large compartments are the perfect size to hold small screwdrivers, a mouthpiece puller and some other emergency tools.

Now whenever a student needs a reed we send them to the box. Also, whenever we go on a music trip we just pack up the  box and everything is secure and readily accessible.
